Sudden death is extremely traumatic for the loved ones left behind. You’re left in a state of utter shock, disbelief, deep sorrow and grief.
Our aim is to provide emotional support to those who need it most, when they need it, without lengthy waiting lists.
Our referral forms are at the bottom of this page.
Counselling is a form of 'talk therapy'. It is a process where an individual meets with a professional in order to help process their emotions.
Small group counselling is also a form of talk therapy but, instead of an individual, it is for a small group of people, typically a family who are all grieving the same sudden loss of a loved one.
This is when a large group of people come together for emotional support. Sudden Sam aims to host various community events, such as coffee mornings focusing on bereavement, sudden loss, and trauma.
